what else we've been up to

 The last few weeks in which we (in no particular order):

Have a doggy playdate between our adopted dog and her brother ...

My daughter in a quest to beat her teachers score masters some simplified characters (great game by the way and they have simplified and traditional characters - Train Chinese Chinese writer)

We go to the races and find it a rather sad and sterile affair - missing Happy Valley already ...

Daily encounters with the dangers of driving in SG.  There is no way the driver of that vehicle exited alive - and I'd hate to know what happened to passengers or anyone else in the vicinity.  Not a cheap car which leads to all kind of judgements about people with too much money, too much alcohol and too few brains and consideration for others ...

I don't think that sign needs any other elaboration.  I just thought this sign could be used as a social commentary in general on narcissistic personalities....

And possibly the highlight of my son's time here so far - in which we try to rescue a drowning reticulated python, but unfortunately he/she was already dead....

And I visit the Marina Sands shopping mall.  Make that "shoppe" mall.  Why?  What qualifies any retail outlet there to be called a "shoppe". (
